Most of the failed siding we replace didn't fail because of the product. It failed at the flashing, the fastening or the trim details.

How do I know if my siding needs replacing or just repair?
If the damage is isolated and the sheathing behind it is dry, repair is usually the right call. If you're seeing soft spots, repeated paint failure, or moisture inside more than one wall, that's a system problem and patching it just hides the next repair. We'll tell you which one you have before you commit to anything.
What siding holds up best in the Charleston climate?
Fiber cement is the most common answer here because it handles humidity, salt and UV without the maintenance cycle of wood. Cedar still looks better on the right historic property and we install plenty of it. It just needs a maintenance plan you'll actually follow.
Do you handle permits and HOA approvals?
Yes. Permits and HOA or architectural review submissions are part of what we manage, which matters on the islands and in the historic district where approvals take real time.
